“Cakewalk” Adelman and the troops “last full measure of devotion”
What are US troops risking in Iraq? Their lives you might say. You would be wrong. They are risking “their last full measure of devotion” according to Ken “cakewalk” Adelman.
Why are we still being subjected to these people? Why do we care what they think? Or better yet, who cares what they think?
Ken Adelman and Eliot Cohen appeared on Meet The Press to discuss their latest opinions on what to do in Iraq and their thoughts on the Iraq study group. As we wreathe with the results of their previous opinions, why would we want to hear more?
Adelman and the rest of the neocons, who are now blaming the administration for the incompetence which has gotten us into the current disastrous situation, can only be described as worms.
However, Ken Silverstein, writing in Harpers, prefers to call them “Rats”.
Watching Adelman re package his “cakewalk” assertions would be comical if things had not turned out so tragically for the US, and catastrophically for Iraq.
“I believe that demolishing Hussein’s military power and liberating Iraq would be a cakewalkâ€, is what he wrote in the Washington Post in 2002 in a series of opeds entitled “cakewalk in Iraq†and “Cakewalk Revisited†.
Now he says he was right but the problems came after.
What is most stunning about this appearance is the total lackof humility combined with more moronic suggestions.
