Every once in a while, a media pundit says something that everyone knows but almost no-one talks about - at least not on the airwaves. Such was the case today with Chris Matthews of Hardball on MSNBC. It was unscripted and with passion.

Chris Matthews had a great suggestion for the treatment of Scooter Libby. Instead of pardoning him, the president should give him the option of going to jail to serve his sentence or put on a uniform and go to the Iraq.
Why not send them all: Libby, Wolfowitz, Perle, Abrams, and of course the Bush twins and Mary Cheney?
While moderating a debate on MSNBC’s “Hardball” between Charlie Rangel (D. Chair Ways and Means Cmte. ) and Mike Pence (R. Indiana) about the vote to place an end date on the Iraq War , Chris Matthews brilliantly identified the Washington Post as “neocon newspaper”.
